Weihrauch’s entry into the year of the PCP Pistol
German gun manufacturer Weihrauch has recently released their new PCP air pistol, the HW44. While the gun is new enough that it’s not yet available in the US and there isn’t much information online regarding it, it is creating a fairly good buzz. Overseas reviewers are remarking that the gun is quite comparable to the HW110, which also has a new, high-powered version, the HW 110 ST. Both are slated for release later in the year.
The company’s specs promise a gun with excellent accuracy and minimal recoil. A side lever for cocking the pistol can be removed and switched to the opposite side. The magazine holds 10 rounds, fired with a two stage adjustable match trigger with manual safety. The air cylinder is a quick-fill 200 bar, with an integral pressure gauge and regulator. It is available in .177 and .22 calibers, with additional accessories available. Additionally, a silencer or moderator is suggested by the manufacturer.
